Thinglink
Thinglink allows you take a static image and make it interactive by adding "nubbins" to embed content into your picture. When your mouse is placed on one of those "nubbins", information pops up. You can add sound, text, web links, videos and more to almost any image you upload to Thinglink. Thinglink is a website AND an iPad app! You can follow people that create Thinglinks you might use. You "touch" an image in order to add it to your favorites (making it easy for you to find it again later). Here are a few examples of Thinglink:

The education site is a fairly new piece for Thinglink. The Thinglink.edu site allows teachers to create accounts for their students, view all of their student's work in one place, add a channel for students to post their finished projects so you and the rest of the class can view them.
